Recording Tips & Troubleshooting
To ensure your challenge submissions are accepted and processed as quickly as possible, please follow these guidelines:
Start recording before you begin your challenge
Always verify that you have pressed Record and that your video is actively recording before attempting your streak. Completing a personal best only to discover your recording never started can be incredibly frustrating.
Keep recording sessions between 5 and 15 minutes whenever possible
While longer recordings are supported, shorter sessions upload and process much faster, allowing your submissions to be reviewed more quickly.
Trim your recording before submitting
Before uploading, you'll be asked to trim your video so it contains only the portion showing your challenge attempt. If you'd like to keep the entire recording for your own memories, you can save the full video to your device before trimming.
Video integrity is important
All trimming is performed within the CourtStreaks app. Videos cannot be edited or altered beyond trimming, helping ensure every submission remains authentic and fair for all players.
CourtStreaks uses your phone's native camera by default
This provides the highest video quality and the most reliable recording experience. If your device's camera is unavailable or encounters an issue, CourtStreaks will automatically prompt you to use the app's built-in camera as a backup.
